Advisory for Indian products in EU: 25 – 31 May 2021

In order to keep the Indian exporters informed of the rejections faced by Indian products in the EU and to take preventive actions FIEO is forwarding the Rapid Alert Systems for Food and Feed (RASFF) and for Non-Food Consumer Products (RAPEX) alerts on a weekly basis.
The alerts from EU generated during 25 - 31 May 2021 are as under:
1. Alert: Madras curry powder with ethylene oxide.

2. Alert: Dinotefuran (0,071 ± 0,036 mg/kg) in black tea from India, packaged in Ukraine.

- Action Taken: Destruction

3. Alert: Increased content of lead in onion powder from India.
- Notification from: Germany
- Risk: Serious

4. Alert: Unauthorized substance ethylene oxide in organic green coffee from India.
- Notification from: France
- Risk: Serious

5. Alert: Metal particles in ayurveda food supplement from India.
