In order to keep the Indian exporters informed of the rejections faced by Indian products in the EU and to take preventive actions FIEO is forwarding the Rapid Alert Systems for Food and Feed (RASFF) and for Non-Food Consumer Products (RAPEX) alerts on a weekly basis.
The alerts from EU generated during 2 - 8 June 2020 are as under:
Alert: Motorcycle manufactured in India recall due to issues in brake callipers
United Kingdom recall of the Motorcycle from end-users as detected issue in brake callipers. The brake callipers can corrode if the vehicle is driven in certain road conditions (applied salt in winter, melting ice, etc.) This will impair the braking performance, increasing the risk of an accident.
